A firm educational foundation - established following his graduation with a Double Bachelor's degree (Law and Construction Management) from Westen Sydney University in 2022, and Practical Legal Training at the esteemed College of Law - has allowed Alec to bring a unique and multifaceted perspective to the legal domain in the various roles he has since gone on to hold.
In particular, Alec’s specific interests in Media, Intellectual Property, Work Health & Safety, and Building & Construction Law have seen him commit to making contributions to his career that have positioned him as one of the most proficient among his peers in these practice areas.
Alec’s career trajectory has included his first position as a paralegal, where he assumed a range of responsibilities including aiding solicitors across diverse legal domains, autonomously conducting examinations at Local Courts, drafting legal documents, and representing clients before Registrars and Magistrates. Serving as a Client Services office at the Federal Circuit and Family Courts of Australia which allowed him to showcase his capability in furnishing vital procedural guidance to callers embroiled in family law concerns. And his most recent role as Graduate Lawyer at No Borders Law Group - where he consistently demonstrated his proficiency in crafting visa applications, adeptly interacting with clients, and skillfully managing intricate files.
Viewing the value of societal welfare as an integral aspect of his identity, Alec has volunteered with the State Emergency Service Parramatta Unit, as a Boxing Coach at Police Citizens Youth Club (PCYC) Parramatta, and as an intern at Noborders Law Group in an effort to support the legal fraternity while, mentoring young minds, dedicating his expertise to the community and fostering the holistic growth of his own career.
Armed with robust educational roots, hands-on legal experience, a diverse skill set that positions him as a proactive catalyst for comprehensive legal solutions, and an ardent fervour for client advocacy (evidenced in his decision to study both Arabic and Chinese in an effort to better communicate with the community he serves) Alec is primed to contribute substantively to the team at New South Lawyers as well as the legal landscape as a whole.
